Love is....

taking time to enjoy your chicks, feed them well and protect them.

This little family live in the farm pond over the garden hedge. We hear them calling daily and from an initial bunch of 7 chicks, 5 now survive. Sadly crows have done for a couple of the youngsters!

i have been absent from Blip due to ill health...shingles, such a pain and then huge disappointment as our lovely Tui boy cat disappeared 4 weeks ago. We have searched everywhere but fear he has met his fate on the road  hunting rabbits.
