Happy campers

Or sailors, to be more accurate.

Number 1 peanut has been home for a wedding and a couple of her pals stayed with us too. It was so lovely to have them here for the weekend!

Sunday’s weather forecast was a bit grim, but we had a lovely sail in Belfast Lough and it was only when driving home that the heavens opened and the rain pelted down. We had a barbecue anyway (of course) and another couple of the peanut’s Liverpool pals joined us before their flight home.

Today has been lovely and sunny so they went to see some of the lovely seaside villages nearby, Donaghadee and Groomsport. They are now en route to the airport with the Ards Man as chauffeur.

In other news, I was up from around 2-5am on Sunday morning with a horribly sore ear. My eardrum eventually perforated and I was able to get some sleep. Antibiotics on the menu for me this week!
