Three Stages of Life

Dear Diary,

I planted this tree peony a few years ago and the most I got each June was 2 or 3 lovely flowers but this year it is loaded and I'm thrilled.  The color is so striking and I gave it a bit of a painterly feel.  Here I was able to document the three stages of a tree peony's life (I've left out the last, dying stage).  Another beautiful day but we are due some rain tonight and tomorrow which is good.  We need it.
