So Far Away
Dad's mini studio.
It may look like chaos, but it's organised chaos.
He liked the rain-washed Cornish air
And smell of ploughed-up soil,
He liked a landscape big and bare
And painted it in oil.
(The poem is an excerpt from John Betjemen's 'On a Portrait of a Deaf Man'. And the blip title is a song by Carol King).
