A day out.

Miss Tbay and I headed for Cheltenham today to enjoy a day out and a shopping expedition.

The weather was not on our side and it rained , a LOT! Despite this we braved the heavy rain , umbrellas at the ready . We were delighted to find that there were sales on in John Lewis so a purchase was made for Ascot and all in a very short time too! An very unusual event to buy so quickly! After this we rushed from shop to shop to get out of the wet!

At mid afternoon we decided to head for the Ivy Restaurant for lunch, rather late I have to admit. Here we enjoyed the fabulous ambiance of this lovely interior whilst we had a very nice meal. Such a treat.

By the time we came out guess what, the rain had stopped! Grrrr. Then it was a very slow trip home due to sheer volume of traffic heading for the West Country!

Mr Tbay had given up any hope of me cooking supper and had thrown himself upon the mercy of the Tbay Jnrs and was enjoying their hospitality when we got home! Needless to say Miss Tbay and I did not require any more food! Happy days.
