Open Gardens

The village had an Open Garden event today and those that walked around this morning had a chance to enjoy them in sunshine.
 Not so this afternoon! It's been torrential off and on.
I'm not brave enough to allow prying eyes visitors into our little oasis , not least because Jorgie would be beside herself with excitement and lick them to death. 
Maybe next year I'll be a bit more confident and can be proud of what I've achieved here. I know it's not a competition but.....
In the meanwhile, the peonies and alliums are in full swing and I get tremendous pleasure from their beauty.
