"Brave baby"
When Hendricks and I went out for our walk this morning, he suddenly stopped as he spotted something on the edge of the track and went to investigate. It was a baby tit - he hopped around a bit, and would fly a few feet then settle again. H was very good and just stood and watched him as I took a few shots.
On the way back, we came across the same little bird (or one very like it) near the same spot. He hopped/fluttered off into the undergrowth - then came hopping back towards us. I took this one when he was about two feet in front of Hendricks' nose, and everything about him was saying "come and have a go if you think you're hard enough" !
Very brave of this belligerent little baby to face down a 22kg lurcher... but I do worry for him in case he tries the same trick with a less sweet-natured dog or one of the local foxes!
