Surprises at Iffley

We went to the National Garden Scheme Open Gardens event in Iffley, Oxfordshire this afternoon.

There were 5 excellent gardens to look around plus the village allotments plus tea and cake in the village hall.

All the gardens were on sloping ground so there were a variety of methods to cope with the inclines. There were two surprises. The first was a garden which went down hill through the trees, around a lake until the river Thames came into view, todays blip. The second surprise was a garden full of intricate sculptures, an example in the extras.

NGS events are always interesting, especially if you are curious!
