In full bloom

For a change there are NO raindrops on these lovely roses. They have been in full bloom for a number of days so I expect that the petals will begin to fall in the next couple of days.

When I was young I used to collect the scented rose petals in the garden, put them in a jam jar with some water and convince myself that I was making perfume.
