open garden

Our neighbour's garden is open today as part of the Open Gardens of Scotland scheme. Unusually, nobody has turned up here by mistake, which is just as well, since I am seriously behind with all things gardening and likely to stay that way for a few weeks to come..I did manage to plant out all my peas, beans and kale seedlings yesterday, which was something.

Today I was on AV duty at church and then went to see Virginia. It made me very sad to see all the elderly patients sitting on their own in their single rooms, and I am all the more determined to make the most of every day of this precious LIFE!!! while I still can.
