The port to Cityforest013 mtb-trail

A dedicated mountain bike route near my hometown has been in the works for years. The city counsel owns plenty of land, including an area that they refer to as the cityforest013 (stadsbos013) with the number representing our city phone code.

They introduced the plan to construct a dedicated route some years ago, but a lot of bureaucratic shit needed to take place to get permits from all other landowners over whose properties parts of the route would run.

It has finally been officially opened a few months ago, but I didn’t have time to ride it until today. Really enjoyable, not too tough with only little climbs, but very technical and curvy single trail sections. I will definitely try to ride it more often!
