Ruby

Boxing Day morning saw a call from S's aunt and uncle in Timaru letting us know that they were free to come for a visit for a couple of days if we were up to it. As Christmas is usually a a full house, they brought their tent with them. They also brought this wee treasure - Ruby, their Springer Spaniel/Hungarian Visla cross.

She's a feisty and frenetic three year old, but she has a wonderful nature and seems to get on with one of our two dogs (Jack, no surprises there).

As I sat outside getting some fresh air, she came to find out what I was doing sitting on the front porch with a beer and a camera. She was also very happy to pose for today's blip...
