Our yearly visit

There’s always one sighting of a red squirrel each year. It’s possible it goes through the trees more than this but is so quick and so hard to spot.If it was not for the birds distress calls, especially the blackbirds, I would have missed it. Luckily I was out in the garden tidying up the flower beds and spotted the red bushy tail and followed it leaping from branch to branch.
Mike and David went to see Noel Gallagher and the High flying birds in Inverness. Not really my sort and music and no way I could stand for 6 hours so I spent the evening watching 63up and typing up a few more recipes for the Brownie Book, just a few more to go.
A nice day, flat calm seas with some rain later on.Really dark skies at lunchtime and the sound of thunder.Sadly heard that a group of walkers were hit by a lightning bolt with one lady dying and another seriously injured. We rarely get lightning here and it was not forecast either.Thoughts go out to all those concerned.
