Southern Maryland Farm
This farm is near our house. It seems to have about 50 acres of corn planted on either side of the house and barns and is quite typical of the farms in the area. Corn takes special equipment and is much more expensive to farm than soy. We have both near us. The old tobacco barns are left in place and are now used to house the tractors. It is rare to see any tobacco growing anymore since the government buy out.
