Fort Sint Pieter

Today we visited a fortress on a hill at Maastricht. We went on top and we went inside to walk the dark walkways inside. Interesting.

Even more interesting was our visit to the tunnels inside the hill upon which the fortress was built. There's a total of 200 kilometers of underground tunnels.

My photos didn't really capture what we saw, so I chose one with an effect I liked.
