Dawlish Birds

A bit of a late blip due to not getting home till gone nine last night and not feeling too good this morning (my get up and go had got up and gone)

Took a little trip up the coast to Dawlish Warren on Friday to have a look at the nature reserve, but there wasn't much going on. In fact the only 'wildlife' photos I took were of a cricket and what I think is a very good looking type of beetle, which when I eventually catch it up I will post on my blog. So I decided to drop into Dawlish to grab a photo of a black swan and came across a mother goose with three goslings. I was surprised to see two female black swans making nest as the mute swans in Torquay have already laid and hatched about 4 weeks ago.
