Hugh Jackman

The most amazing show at the O2 arena in London. I bought the girls tickets for Christmas (Lucy was unable to make it so Sims Natalie came too).

We got there about 5.30pm, grabbed something to eat at one of the many restaurants and chose one that didn’t have a queue outside. Then onto queuing to get into the arena (an email earlier in the week had said the show would start at 7.15 prompt) 7.15 came and went and we were still queuing I was starting to get a bit anxious that we would miss the opening. We got in just after 7.30, found our seats and about 2 minutes later the show started.

What an entertainer, Hugh (yes, we are on first name terms) was just brilliant. Singing, dancing, chatting ... had it all. Songs from The Greatest Showman, Les Mis, The Boy From Oz and other musicals. A special guest appearance from Taron Egerton (how many of you know who he is?)......

................. he plays Elton John in Rocketman and he performed Your Song. Brilliant too. Also touring with HJ (yep initials now ;-)) was the ‘bearded lady’ from The Greatest Showman singing This is Me.

I’m still buzzing now it was soooo good. We got home about 12.30am and poor Bex and Natalie (Josh’s gf) had to drive home.

I took lots of video clips but not so many pics and we were too far for any clear pics.
