Assembly line

One of the products of my continuing Christmas baking extravaganza, started yesterday. I made the cookie halves bite-sized, which made it too easy for them to find their way into my mouth as I popped them out of the oven. Putting the baci together was a lot of fun, and it was quite satisfying seeing the end result. I also made a second batch out of chocolate batter.

I followed a recipe from this amazing Italian cookbook. My mum got it from the library, and I just had to kidnap it for a couple of days to try some of the recipes.

Fudge and other chocolate goodies were some further creations today. Thanks to Year One for the ideas & recipes!
