Garden 2019

Today was the big day!  I planted all our vegetable plants in our community garden plot that we have been preparing for the last week or so. I am so happy to see our garden with plants in the ground:  tomatoes, peppers, corn, squash, cucumbers, cabbage, potatoes and broccoli.

Tomorrow I plant the seeds: green, yellow, and purple beans, shelling peas, sugar snap peas, kidney beans (for dry beans), tongues of fire beans (for dry beans), beets, swiss chard, and carrots. 

Asparagus and strawberries come back every year and have been quite tasty. At the house we have sugar snap peas, spinach, swiss chard, turnips, radishes, basil, and cilantro planted.
