Tradition and cold turkey

Boxing Day is a day of traditions. Today we didn't just observe a local one but partook for the first time. My daughter joined the local hunt at their annual boxing day meet. She didn't actually hunt, just hacked to the meet, mingled with the 100's there and hacked home. She did brilliantly as did her pony considering it was their first time and he had to stand still while his friends pelted off without him.

Another tradition observed today was the cold meats and leftovers. Almost better (but not quite) than Christmas dinner itself!
