Dramatic cricket. What a fantastic game to watch in such a fantastic venue.

As a student, a group of us went to Trent Bridge after exams finished each year. I knew I liked the ground but loved it today.

Having grown up in Australia, I thought I’d be supporting the Aussies. I even know the old Aussie chants. But I landed up switching and cheered on The Windies.

A wonderful wonderful day. I wish the Windies had won, of course - it was so close. And Elbows, poor Elbows, missed THE CATCH, Cottrell catching Smith out. Shame.
