Will it be a best seller?

A trip into town this morning for an appointment and some errands. The appointment had a successful outcome which was a very pleasant surprise.

We had coffee (tea for me) and cake at a bookshop and on the way out I saw these Ladybird books!!!!

We had a Chinese takeaway this evening, determined to keep up the chopstick skills practiced in Japan. Japanese rice is much stickier than the takeaway stuff, so this was not so easy to manage. I’ve got some jasmine rice in the cupboard, so will give that a try next time.

I discovered that the chopsticks that we have in the drawer were brought home from Singapore by B for his parents in the late ‘60’s. I found them when clearing my F-in-L’s house and they were kept.
