Daisy Cutters

Horses out on the third and un-mown field.

Beehive is in the background by the wooden shed - I was a bit surprised that they seem to like the king-size "daisies". I always thought they were of little bee value.

Tomorrow I will be giving the bees an overdue check - I have been a very busy bee on other matters & am pretty sure they are doing well. Can't expect too much yet as they have only had a couple of weeks to build a home from scratch. I had added a second box of frames with a queen excluder (i.e. only for honey stores) but don't expect them to have done much yet.
