Ringed Plover

Having used a slightly scruffy chick two days ago, here is an adult in all its glory.
Off in the evening to a Rock Art lecture - and before we get the gag about Roger Dean Yes album covers etc, it has already been made. This is a talk on Neolithic carving on rocks, of which Scotland has many and the Uist few. Always interesting to hear an expert talking on their subejct.
