The Tucson area has some of the most creative and interesting Bus Stops that I have ever seen. This is another example

The open shade here is traditional. The roof simulates dried saugaro ribs which were used by the native americans for centuries. The gaps allow the arid heat to escape through the roof while still providing shade.
