Leaving Herm

Took this pic in the hotel gardens. It was very windy and the wind increased as forecast and brought with it squally showers. Not the best conditions for a ferry ride! The trips back to Guernsey and then on to Sark on an even smaller ferry were very bouncy affairs (one extra) and involved getting up and down steep, narrow stone steps. Luckily there were some strong hands to help us on and off the ferries! The sun came out briefly this evening and now it is raining again. As there is a wedding happening here tomorrow we have been upgraded to the hay loft for a quieter stay! (Second extra)
