Flower Friday: Cornflower

I decided it was time to get my modified Helios lens out again for today's Flower Friday challenge, and spent a bit more time experimenting with the taking of the photo and the processing than I've done in the past. I aimed to produce a dreamy, fairy dell effect for this cornflower; the hazy, twirly yellowish background is from the light green leaves of a fuschia shrub - actually the same shrub as in the link.

(All of the bokeh effect comes from the lens - the processing only involved tweaks to exposure, contrast, dehaze, vignette and a little sharpening and de-noising.)
