Working at a conference at Edinburgh Uni - the FDSSUK Annual Conference. FDSSUK is the Fibrous Dysplasia Support Society UK which aims to encourage, promote and assist a better understanding of Fibrous Dysplasia and McCune-Albright Syndrome. This woman was amazing - talking about her experiences with the disease and what she has been able to do despite it. She has a job, her own flat and drives a specially adapted car. For her, one of the best things recently was being able to host her parents for Christmas dinner last year, albeit with a bit of help with the preparations.
