Jessica's birthday

We were invited to celebrate Jessica's birthday, in town, not on the farm, thank goodness.  The big event happened at the Victorian Secret, a cafe,  located at a once famous historical site, the Tait House, in Benoni.

Karen picked up my Mom and I made my way from Edenvale, and Jessica, along with Chelsea, made her way from the farm.

I arrived on time, as did the other two guests.

The family, arrived an hour after the start time.   Eish !

The breakfast was nice......... it generated several "family" shots.  See more in the extras.

When we were done, I was tasked with taking Mom home. 

Our homeward journey, ended up being a taxi service : being close to the end of the month, and car less, Mom had half  a dozen errands that she needed to attend to.

We finally made it home, around 4.30 pm.
