Winter visitor

It has been snowing here since early this afternoon but it has since turned to rain. But not before R had to make his way (slowly) home from work. It took him about an hour to make the journey that normally only takes 20-25 minutes. All the while I am worried sick!!

Since I didn't want to leave the warm confines of the house, I was content to take pictures of the Juncos at the birdfeeder. It wasn't long before the snow had covered up all the feed ~ it was fun to watch the birds shuffling around in the feeder trying to uncover what they could.

Considering the lack of light and the fact that I took this through the front window, I am fairly pleased with it.
