Oh the wealth of early June
I keep forgetting my camera. Photography is not as important as it was any more. But to see the abundant bloom in my yard makes me at least grab my cellphone just so I can share. Why is it that I always have wanted to share, when I saw something beautiful? Started when I was a teenager on a lonely walk that I noticed that I regretted that nobody could see the beauty that I saw.
During most of my life, my mother shared many walks and good moments.
We enjoyed the same things.
In the last six years, you blippers did. I joined Blip after she died. But I still wish I could make her see some of the beauty that is surrounding me. Yesterday we enjoyed a glorious walk in Enchanted Valley, that is called righteously so. I posted some pics of it last summer. It is a huge wild lonely valley with lots of original forest on the mountainsides around it. The wealth of plants and species, high high grasses, humming insects and birds above us seems always overwhelming to me. It was Topped off by a blue sky with beautiful fluffy clouds so I did regret to have forgotten my camera.
What a glorious day!
People like to ask me whether I like to live in the United States. Politically I have a hard time saying yes to that question these days. But nature wise I can answer with a whole hearted ‘yes’. There will not be many spots in Germany or Holland where you can find so much untouched nature.
