Thursday: Cousin Joe and Stacey

I mentioned yesterday that my cousin had come to stay. Meet Cousin Joe, admiring an eagle feather, and his girlfriend, Stacey. We've had a great first day so far - K. took then out to show them the lay of the land and we have already introduced them to our local hostelry.

I worked from home today as I had an event out at UBC this morning. I was on a panel to talk about gender in foreign policy. I'm sure the four members of the audience found it fascinating - there were as many audience members as there were panellists. Luckily it wasn't my event.........
