Hiding in the shadows

So he thought he could hide away from me, but he never realised how good I am at hide and seek. Like a blood hound with my keen sense of smell I followed the the sweet sent of jelly baby and tracked him hiding in the shadows, where he quivered like.........well like jelly actually. Not wanting to be eaten he begged for his freedom, so i agreed i would leave it up to you, shall i eat him or let him free???
