Poppies for AT

Mulltiple focus on poppies today for AT, but it's D-day today and its 75th commemoration.
Did watch today a rebroadcasted documentairy of 5 years ago, with original footage made by the Canadian Liberators then in 1944 ~ as many expressed  eversince D-day again: "it's overwhelming to think of the bravery of all those young men going to war".
Being from the 50-ies, I grew up with stories from WW II told by my elders and remember their gratitude to the brave soldiers from across the seas, who liberated the Netherlands from Nazi German occupation and gave us peace.

I'll add a link with 14 minutes life footage from D-day made by the Canadians 1st Army then.
