Thursday Showers

I hung two loads of laundry on the line before my gym class this morning, then, kept my eye on the weather report, and the sky, since I knew rain was predicted. In the afternoon, just as a small breeze came up and it felt cooler, I raced to the back yard, but the rain beat me to it and soaked the clothes before I could snatch them off the line. Wouldn't you know.
