i defend my family with my orange umbrella
Today I finally got to see a doctor because of the weird dry patches on my skin that I've been suffering from as of late. Not a very promising diagnosis - it threw me a bit - but I guess I'll just take one step at a time and go for some blood tests.
The afternoon was much better - my brother and I went to Las Palmas, the city we grew up in and went for a stroll and a bit of shopping. There was such a great atmosphere in the streets, friends and families going for a wander together, drinking coffees on the streets and it was pretty warm on top of everything! We went round Triana and Vegueta, the old parts of town, which I used to love as a kid. This photo is taken near the 'Casa de Colón', the house that Columbus stopped by on his way to "discover" America.
I liked the colour of the walls and the window...not so sure about the cctv style camera. Modern meets old even here.
