Pegasus' Bridge

We have been staying in Ranville the village next to Pegasus' Bridge. It was the first village to be liberated on DDay.

The area is full with WW2 reenactment groups and real soldiers. It is a little surreal. The original Pegasus' Bridge is now part of the museum.

My post for the 6th was meant for today (5th). Posting late resulted in a mix-up on my part. I will add some extras showing the service in Ranville celebrating 75 years of liberation.
