Freedom

Freedom - to come on a school trip from France to London. To visit an art gallery. To sit and chat with their friends. To enjoy doing as they choose. To wear a straw hat.

We owe so much to the brave men and women who fought for our freedom  on D-Day 75 years ago. The sacrifice so that we can wake up in the mornings and decide what we are going to do today. So easy to take it for granted or not think about it. The last few days have reminded us how blessed we are.

Seen on a visit to the Dorothea Tanning exhibition. Very good too. With a child wishing she could be free of the gallery claustrophobia in the extra.
