Sometimes a desk day has a workflow which is smoouth and automated. This was different, lots of manual calcs, averaging things, discarding outliers, dicovering a bug in the software, a few emails and calls about that. I got up from the desk feeling like I had a hangover. A Fitbit on my wrist which is usually congratulating me on an active day was buzzing to tell me to get off my backside.
This evening walk barely made the step count acceptable and the midges were hellish.
