The Guide’s Garden

We went on a guided walking tour this morning. Our guide took us to her garden on the way which backs onto the Manor House which has been fashioned to look like a castle! Anyway the walk took us to some glorious vistas. Beautiful beaches and wild flowers in the foliage. A beautiful day. As it was the 75th anniversary of the D-Day landings the Red Arrows had an air display over Guernsey which we were lucky enough to watch from Herm. I’m sure they did a fly by just for us! But now it is raining. Forecast for tomorrow not good and we get the ferry back to Guernsey and a ferry onto to Sark.
