Alstroemeria

 Morning was taken up by a quick trip to see Kanyl, nothing of note for the rest of the day.  This left me looking for blips rather late in the day.  I finally settled on some Alstroemeria in a vase.  Others may know them as Lily of the in as or Peruvian  Lily.

I wanted a shot of a single flower and the tend to grow as a number of heads close together.  I could have taken the scissors and cut the others away.  I settled on a little lateral thinking.  A clothes peg just below each flower was enough to  make them sag below the shot.

Alstroemeria as the common names suggest is native to South America but has naturalised in North America and a number of other countries round the world.
