Today's the day ……………………. for a photographer's flower

It would have to be a garden blip today - because that's where I have spent most of the day.

And it is my favourite place to be on a lovely sunny day as this was.  This is another new plant in my herbaceous border - and it's there largely because of Rainie.  I have long admired her pictures of Astrantia  and resolved that I would have one of my own.  It's a photographer's flower and you can do all sorts of clever things with it - or, at least, you can if you're as good a photographer as Rainie.
