Paddling my own canoe

Actually I have 8 other brothers and sisters.  Went to see French Friend this afternoon as she returned home from France yesterday (not quite sure where she thinks of home nowadays as she's always flitting between her two homes?).  However it's one of those  significant birthdays for her tomorrow so I went armed with pressies and card.  We chatted for hours, so good to see her again.  Meanwhile Mr T is on Day 2 of the lurgy but feeling a smidgen better but we're leaving our journey down South for Lily's 9th birthday party until Saturday to give him another day's rest.

The rest of the cygnet siblings in extra.  In all the time I've seen swan families have their offspring on our stretch of the Shropshire Union Canal, this must be a record number hatched.  Do hope they all do well.
