Good Day, Bad Day

Good day - Mrs FP enjoyed a stonking victory at the bowling today (16 - 5). The green is in fine condition. Then a chance schnauzer fest! As I was getting out the land rover a wee schnauzer puppy came charging up to me from across the road, his owner shouting after it. I grabbed it and he was duly returned. We got blethering and let Murdo loose. After a barky introduction they played like mad things for half an hour. Wee scone is knackered. Across the water we spotted Longannet power station ablaze. It is decommissioned and in the process of being demolished. This the result of a controlled explosion (or perhaps not so controlled). We broke out our dodgy Michael Caine accents and did the "You were only supposed to blow the bloody doors off!" thing. All very entertaining.

Bad day -  car failed its MoT. We have had 145,000 miles out of it so it doesn't owe us anything. Went to the garage to get the inside skinny - a sidelight bulb needs replaced and the undertray needs tightened. Whoo hoo! Maybe not such a bad day after all.
