1944

I unearthed some photos - my father who joined the RAF, my mother who joined the WRAF, my uncle (her brother) who went into the Navy. Young people who did what everyone else was doing. They had no idea what was before them. 

Hard for us to even begin to imagine what it was like in 1944 - for anyone.
