The Conservatory

A coffee morning with old friends. When I joined the local photographic club, I was recognised by another member, whose wedding photos my husband had taken in the early 60's. I went along to arrange the groups. The following meeting, he brought in some photos, I had never seen of a group of my friends from our young days, at a birthday party. In  the extras, I am at the back in the light dress, hugging my future husband. I was 18, and I am now 85, probably one of the oldest blippers. The other is me with two of the old friends from another coffee morning with Babs, also from those days. Tony on the left gave me all the old pictures, I was a good friend of the other, Peter,  and his wife. Neither of the wives are still with us, sadly. The conservatory is like an extension to Tony's garden, rather wild but interesting. My eldest daughter remarked on how smart we were in those days, no jeans or trainers, a later fashion.
