Dan yr Ogof Caves. (National Showcaves Centre)

Hi there everyone. I am so sorry that I am all behind again with Blip! I can't seem to catch up with myself!
I had a fabulous time in Wales, but it went so quickly....but all good things must come to an end. I am sure we will go back there again.
These photos are of the Dan yr Ogof Cave.s. (National Showcaves Centre for Wales), and it was absolutely amazing there!! Nature truly is astounding in all it's rich beauty. My eyes were popping out of my head.

There are 3 caves in this complex. The 3 different caves Dan-yr-Ogof, Cathedral Cave and Bone Cave each offer a unique underground experience. In Dan-yr-Ogof you walk through the beautifully decorated passageways for just under 1 kilometre, or walk through the enormous passageways of Cathedral Cave, carved out millions of years ago, and at the end of this cave experience the excitement of walking behind the 40 feet high waterfalls that cascade around you in the ‘Dome of St Paul’s’, an atmospheric end to a truly wonderful cave. The river Llynfell emerges from the mountain as you approach the entrance to Dan-yr-Ogof, returning to the surface after an underground journey of more than 6km. It was by way of this entrance that the Morgan Brothers made their dramatic discovery in 1912.

I hope you enjoy these photos, as I enjoyed the experience.
Thank you for following me. Take care.
Love Theresa.
