Christmas Quiz

Such a lovely day today. The children negotiated at 6.45 start so we were jumped on when it was still dark. It was pouring with rain and there was even thunder and lightning. I can't remember a thunderstorm on Christmas Day before.

The children were so excited and happy with all their presents, it was lovely. They still get very excited about the smallest of things, it's wonderful to see. I love how they still say, 'Look Mum! Look Dad!' every time they open something new.

Chris went to see his parents and Keith came over. Later, after he got back Jeremy bought mum over. I was so glad she felt up to coming in the end.

Chris cooked a fabulous lunch. Afterwards we swapped presents, so lovely. Afterwards we played a quiz game, in two teams with Betsy a quiz master. I am horribly competitive and love games and quizzes of all kinds. Add red wine and I'm off!

Needless to say, our team won and crowed horribly. I'm not proud.

Had a really lovely day. An amazing Christmas. I love my family, we are very close and I love to spend time with them.
