On the other side of Grafton Bridge

The lurgi is still making me feel tired, but I took the bike again today, after ten days when I've mostly driven the car to work. A gentle enough ride during which lycra clad young men on fast bikes, and indeed almost every other cyclist on the road, passed me. Peggy Lee once sang "I'm not built for speed". For me it's more that speed on a bike (especially) doesn't really interest me. 

If I'd been faster across Grafton Bridge, I would have had a green light, and missed this view down Grafton Road.
