First frost

No wonder I felt a bit cooler overnight - I awoke to a gloriously white lawn!  By the time I'd got myself organised (coffee!) and despite the garden still being in deep shadows, the air temperature was clearly rising as most of what I looked at shooting was more a heavy dew than a light frost.  Beautiful, nevertheless.  As was my fire when I returned indoors.

It's crossed my mind to wonder whether my cooler overnight temperature may have been the result of watching the Black Caps v Bangladesh with one eye open...?  Very pleased to see our boys grind out the victory though the Bangladesh side are looking rather good.  I feel more cooler nights coming on.
